This is for all those expecting and modern parents who have experienced frustration resulting from societies apparent license to criticise, compliment, invade personal space or provide endless unsolicited advice. This is your chance to VENT!
For example - Nothing frustrates me more than being asked if I breast feed? Why do people continue to violate pregnant women or parents with young children. How we raise our children is our business. Please hold back your comments unless they are positive or we ask for your opinion. Parenting is difficult - give us a break!
Or maybe you'd like to share the details of a trusted product. It may be an innovation or an oldie but a goodie.
One of my favourites is the BabyWedge, a wonderful safe product that aids colic discomfort and doubles as a pregnancy pillow for big bellies. Well done to the Australian sisters who introduced this product to the market.
If you recommend a product we will approach that company and offer to advertise their product at no charge until June 2012 on the Modern Parenting site. We especially like new innovative products. Unfortunately we won't allow promotion of products or brands on the blog itself.

For example - Bored toddler? Try covering your dining table with brown paper, stick down all the corners with sticky tape and set up some paints and brushes. Let your little one go crazy and then hang up the paper to dry. It makes wonderfly creative and special wrapping paper!
